Our Favorite Greek Islands

We recently had the privilege of doing a little island-hopping in Greece, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime. We got the chance to visit threeincredible Greek islands — Santorini, Paros and Milos — and would recommend touring them all!

Santorini: Santorini is one of the most-visited islands, and with its breathtaking views and Old World charm, it's not hard to see why. We stayed in an Airbnb in the Firostefani area, but there are plenty of exquisite hotels here too. Seek out a room with a view of the Caldera volcano. Santorini is a great place to walk around and gift shop. It's also a great place to take a plungein a jacuzzi. Instead of a warm bath, Greece's jacuzzis offer more of a cold plunge. We recommend skipping the Oia section of Santorini, as it can get extremely crowded.

Paros: A little more relaxed but no less beautiful, the Greek island of Paros is well-known for its pretty beaches and charming villages. We stayed in a villa on the middle of the island, which required a car or taxi to get around. However, Paros offers a lot to do — amazing beaches, friendly people and a hot, desert climate. We recommend visiting the Naousa fishing village, as it offers fantastic outside cafés and shops.

Milos: This volcanic island isfull of ancient history and breathtaking natural features, so it's definitely worth a visit. From the stunning Papafragas Beach and Caves to taking leisurely drives around the island to enjoy the scenery, you can't go wrong here if you dream of a tropical paradise. The restaurants are fantastic and offer a great variety, from vegetarian to Mediterranean to Greek to a meat-only restaurant.

Sunbathing at Multicolored Beaches

Greece is home to hundreds of different beaches, some of which feature beautiful sand in red, white and even black hues. Make a day of wandering around to the different beaches available on the island you're visiting and luxuriate in the crystal-clear water while you soak up the Mediterranean sun. For this activity, of course you'll need a swimsuit. Choose one that will look good in all your social media photos with one of our black bikinis.

A little black bikini is ideal for anyone who wants her bikini to look great no matter what. With endless styles to choose from, you'll even be able to make this classy monochromatic swimwear your own. Plus, there's hardly anything sexier than a black swimsuit.

Sailing Between the Islands

Spend a day sailing from island to island in one of the smaller archipelagos to truly make the most of your Greek vacation. Maybe stop for some parasailing or another adventurous water activity of your choosing. Get a great tan while protecting yourself from an accidental sunburn by pairing a monokini with a beautiful beach coverup.

A good swimsuit coverup is also something you can wear throughout your trip. It will be essential when you spend your days wandering from the shoreline to the local town.

Hiking and Sightseeing

Greece is filled with mountains and unique terrain that provides some of the best day hikes in the world. Combine these nature walks with sightseeing ancient ruins in Delphi or other regions and you'll be entertained for days. In addition to a good pair of walking shoes, you'll need some versatile garments to wear during this physical activity. Don't forget to pack sunscreen and a hoodie because the temperature is likely to dip as you climb.

What you consider must-visit sightseeing venues might be different from what another person does, but Greece has it all. Choose Mykonos Town for elegant seafood restaurants and dress to the nines or for live music venues where you can break out some outfits to reflect the band that's performing. Find an island or city that speaks to you, whether you crave historic sites or chic boutiques, and dress to prepare for your adventures.

There are some cities in Greece that are car-free or have designated pedestrian-only streets. Whatever you're planning, bring supportive sandals or shoes you're comfortable walking the town in. Don't forget sunglasses and enjoy your vacay to Greece in style!
